Please carefully read the Terms and Conditions.
In these Terms and Conditions, the following words shall have the following meanings:
“Postmedia Network Inc.”, “PNI”, “us”, “we” refer to Postmedia Network Inc. and its related companies, affiliates, publications, unaffiliated partners and/or licensors.
This Agreement applies to Home Newspaper Delivery subscriptions.
1.Home Newspaper Delivery:
PNI will deliver the newspaper services to you in accordance with the term, frequency and delivery start date specified in your subscription order.
a. You are responsible for providing and maintaining with Postmedia your current, complete, and accurate billing and delivery information. If we are unable to charge you for your subscription for any reason, you will remain responsible for all charges, and we reserve the right to cease delivery of your service.
b. Valid where home delivery is available; you will be notified if the available delivery areas change.
c. Postmedia reserves the right to make changes to its publication schedule. In such an event, the subscriber will be provided access to an ePaper or digital publication.
2. Home Newspaper Delivery Subscription Fees & Payments:
a. When you purchase a subscription to a service, that subscription will continue until it is cancelled by you or Postmedia in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.Standard subscriptions are monthly, paid in advance.
b. Unless otherwise stated, all home delivery subscription fees are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying all fees plus applicable taxes in accordance with your subscription order.
c. Home newspaper delivery month-to-month preauthorized subscription price will continue at the price selected on your subscription order and will not increase unless Postmedia provides four weeks written notice by email, by mail, or notification in the newspaper. If you have a month-to-month subscription, any fee changes will apply in the billing cycle following the notification. If you have a fixed term subscription, (6 months or 12 months) your fee changes will apply at the end of your fixed term.
d. If you do not accept the fee changes, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with this Agreement.

f. If a price is stated in error, as determined in our discretion, we are not required to offer the subscription at that price; but we will notify you of the error and give you the opportunity to cancel your order with a refund if payment has been made and processed.
g. If you wish to reduce your home newspaper delivery frequency, Postmedia will set up your new account and transfer any remaining monies to your new account. If you wish to increase your delivery frequency, Postmedia will transfer any remaining monies to your new account and increase your subscription payment effective immediately.
h. Periodically, Postmedia may offer promotions. The rules, terms, payments conditions, and details of these promotions will be outlined at the time of the offer and PNI may cancel or modify them at any time. Your eligibility for a promotion is at the discretion of Postmedia. Postmedia reserves the right to make changes or cancel any discounts or promotions at any time. New home newspaper delivery subscription offers, if provided with a gift, or if provided at a discount, may require a 6-month commitment. New discounted home newspaper delivery print subscription offers cannot be combined with any other offer. New discounted home newspaper delivery subscriptions are limited to readers who have not had home delivery in the past 45 days; existing subscribers are not eligible.
3. Home Newspaper Delivery Subscription Payments:
a. You may pay for your subscription by pre-authorized recurring payments or by making a term pre-payment in full.
b. If you agree to provide us with pre-authorized recurring credit card or auto bank withdrawal payments, you represent and warrant that you are a legal cardholder for the credit card provided or any other credit card that you may provide to us from time to time, or a valid bank account holder. You acknowledge that the payment for your subscription fee plus applicable taxes will be charged against your Credit Card or withdrawn from your bank account on a recurring basis. If a recurring payment falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, your Credit Card or bank withdrawal may be charged on the next business day. Our authority to charge your Credit Card or withdraw your bank payment will continue until you notify us by telephone, email, or mail to change your payment method or until you cancel your subscription. (note, it may take 5 business days to process your request).
c. If you have a charge for your subscription on your Credit Card or bank account that you believe is incorrect, you must notify us within 90 days of the charge; otherwise, you will be deemed to have accepted the charge as billed.
d. Term subscription payments are offered on a fixed term of 6 months or 12 months. Payments can be processed using a Credit Card. Term subscribers will receive a subscription renewal notice by mail or email if you .
e. If you choose to receive a printed subscription renewal notice mailed to your home, there is an additional fee of $26.00 a year which is added to the price of your annual subscription. .
4. Home Newspaper Delivery Suspensions:
a. When you go on vacation, you can suspend your home delivery and arrange to resume delivery when you return.
b. Your subscription expiry date will be adjusted based on the number of publishing days you were on vacation.
c. As a home delivery subscriber, your print subscription includes unlimited online access to the publication you receive at home along with the publication ePaper edition.
d. To place a home delivery suspension on your account, please visit our self-serve website or contact Customer Service.

5. Home Newspaper Delivery – Missed Deliveries
a. If you experience a missed delivery, and have contacted customer service, Postmedia will attempt to redeliver your newspaper if you contact us prior to the re-delivery deadline.
b. If we are not able to re-deliver your missed newspaper, the value of the delivery credit will be placed on your account. Your subscription expiry date will be extended based on the value of the credit.
6. Home Newspaper Delivery Subscriptions & Online Access:
a. When you purchase a home newspaper delivery subscription, you can register your subscription to receive unlimited online access to the publication you receive delivered to your home. Your subscription also includes the publication ePaper edition.
b. To activate your unlimited online access, visit your publication’s website (see direct links below) and create an account using the email address attached to your subscription. You will need to create a password.
c. To activate your ePaper, visit your publication link
d. If you cease to be a home newspaper delivery subscriber, or if you cease to pay for your home newspaper delivery subscription, your Online and ePaper access will be cancelled. If you wish to continue to receive Online and ePaper access once your newspaper home delivery subscription has ended, you can subscribe to an Online subscription.
e. You are responsible for any third-party fees or charges you incur in connection with your online access, including any data fees that may be charged by your mobile phone or internet provider.
7. Home Newspaper Delivery Subscription and Cancellations and Refund:
a. You may request a cancellation of your month-to-month or term subscription at any time.
b. We require a minimum of 5 business days to process your cancellation request. If we receive your notice fewer than 5 business days prior to your expiry/billing date, your cancellation will be effective at the end of your next expiry/billing date, extending your subscription one month.
c. All Home newspaper delivery subscriptions are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued. If you purchase a pre-authorized month-to-month subscription and cancel your home newspaper delivery prior to your subscription expiry/billing date, you will not be issued a refund. If you purchased a prepaid fixed-term subscription and cancel prior to the end of your term, you will not be issued a refund for any time remaining on the term subscription.
d. In the case of both monthly and term subscriptions, you will continue to have access to the publication website and ePaper, until your newspaper home delivery subscription cancellation date.

9. General Information:
a. You acknowledge and agree that any failure or delay by us in performing any obligations under this Agreement (including, without limitation, any failure, delay or suspension of delivery of products or services) due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, internet failure, equipment failure, telecommunications failure, electrical power failure, satellite failure, strike, labour dispute, riot, insurrections, civil disturbance, shortage of labour or materials, fire, flood, storm, explosion, act of God, war, governmental actions, public health incident or emergency, or order of any domestic or foreign court or tribunal), shall not be a breach of this Agreement and you will not hold us liable or responsible for any damages resulting from or otherwise related to such failure or delay. You acknowledge and agree that our content or websites may be temporarily unavailable, inaccessible, or inoperable for any reason from time to time, including, without limitation, for periodic maintenance, repairs, or disruptions as described above.
b. We may update this Agreement from time to time. If updates are significant, we will provide you with 30 days’ notice. Except as otherwise prohibited by law, your continued use of the subscription service following any updates will mean your acceptance of this Agreement as amended. If you do not accept this Agreement, you may cancel your home newspaper delivery subscription. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. It is the express wish of the parties that this agreement and all related documents be drawn up in English.
c. Your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-statement/and Terms of Use at /terms-and-conditions/
d. In the event of a conflict between any portion of this Agreement and the terms of your subscription order, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.
